I would like to change the default settings so that anytime I create a new user on my XP computer their desktop background is something other than what the default is now and the screen saver comes on in 45 minutes instead of the 10. Can anyone tell me how to do this?

Administrator Password My cousin accidentally change the XP bootup to require the administrator user name and password but he has no idea what the password is so the XP will not bootup into normal or Safe Mode so how is the Admin password

My PC tries to read / write to/from the A-drive several times during a work session, even though there is no disc in it and I have not tried to copy/move/read any files to/from it. It doesn't seem to caise any problems, but is this normal?

my 40GB drive only shows as 31.4, I had it partitioned as a FAT32 but change it to NTFS but it still only shows as being 31.4. will repairing xp fix this or will I have to do a clean install? Or what are my other options.

My computer takes a long time to come on. It boots up and shows a DOS screen which allows me supposedly to choose either a F1 key (SETUP) or a F10 key (SYSTEM STORE). It eventually comes on but it takes 5 minutes. It didn't do
