As a user of XP, I am also a user of XP firewall.  I have read so much good about Zone Alarm firewall that I am wondering whether I should make a change over, or is it possible to use it as well as XP.  I believe using 2 firewalls usually lead to trouble.  Thanks for any advice ...

Refering to post 4/1/2004 *having to close down * . After reading and experiencing errors on page I downloaded Macromedia Flashplayer 10  oddly not refered to on Macromedia website , I looked through Google search . Before  then I found 2 CTFMON.EXE 's listed in Startup Program ...

Two quick questions, please.
First, In my C:\Documents and Settings\My account, the following files and
folder keep recreating themselves. I deleted them few times but every time I
restart my computer they are there again!

My friend made a password for the "Guest" user account and forgot it.  I am the administrator for this home PC and have no way of knowing what his password is.  So for the moment, no one is able to use this "Guest" user feature.  Help!!!

Can't Microsoft just leave well enough alone?  Why must Microsoft constantly update and upgrade things?  Microsoft, if you stop all the updating and upgrading I'll give you a cookie.  Okay?  Good.

I have several applications that when I am using anyone of them, the
application will minimize after about 2-3 minutes. I will have to click on
the application in the task bar to re-activate it to fill the desktop.

Where in the heck can I find my recycle bin?  It's not on
my desktop.  Once you help me find it, will I be able to
create a shortcut in the normal way to get it out onto my

I would like to rename my local user profile. When I set up WindowsXP I used
my first name as (I think) the computer name. Later in the set-up the name
Debbie was rejected so I temporarily, I thought, used Debbie2. Now with
every new program I load Debbie2 is automatically filled in ...
