Even if I click on open link in new window it shuts down then one I have and opens the new one? Proabably a simple fix but I can't find it. Can anyone help?

Notepad. I want to upload it to a site, but it has to be
in Word (.doc) form. Can I make the document compatible?

Seems I read Microsoft does not send attachments and any that come are bogus
and have virus. Is this correct?

How would I allocate the room on my hard drive between my program space and
my free space.

Is there a good utility or way in XP built in to recover deleted files
(emptied recycle bin)?  I haven't had this problem myself but I am helping a
friend who may have deleted some important items and she wants them back.

I have successfully deleted adware from my Explorer program by using AdAware.  I had to (shudder) download netscape to get i
on a memory stick and then to apply it to my IE prgrm.  However, now I am unable to run my IE program at all.  It now says
"page not available" for any ...

I keep getting this warning that says messenger is shutting down my system
and I need to save my work, it then starts a 60 second count down timer and
shuts down my system.

I have some viruses that I need to be in safe mode before
trying to remove them and I cant figure out how to get
into safe mode, can someone help?

I have tried numerous times to install my downloaded SP1.  It gives me a ACCESS DENIED error, and then another error saying that SP1 was not installed.  I tried the fix that Microsoft gave on the site, without any luck.  Any info would be appreciated.
