every time i try to email certain sites, it says you need a digital id. i dont know understand how to get it, or do it.

New to XP and working with it to install/transfer software and files.
Just saw that My Documents appears 3 times in my pc, namely under:
1. Desktop\My Documents
2. My Computer\Owner's Documents\My Documents

I created a limited user for my grandchildren.  How do I
remove the icons on their desktop without deleting them
on mine and vice versa.  Thanks for your help.

i cannot get my pictures to save to a cd.  when i try to do so, i get an i/o device error or when it asks to put a cd into drive e nothing happens.  what am i doing wrong?

When I updated to XP I lost all My email Folders and Files. Where are they? Can I recover them from the hard drive or are they lost?

I can't see a newsgroup for XP networking, hence my posting here.
We have an XP machine, connected to the internet on a cable modem. I just

I am unable to copy files from "my Documents" to a web
site. The Paste function is not available when i go to
desired web site. Im using XP home addition Please Help

Whenever i go to put pictures onto a Cd from "my pictures" under picture tasks, i get a little window that says
  -copy here
  -move here
  -create shortcuts here

My question is- I have 2 computers.  I want to put XP on my old one cause it has no operating system (have not used in years).  Can I use the copy I Purchased for my newer computer on my old one also???
