Missing taskbar in win xp

I have installed XP many times without running into this.  After a reformat
of my hard drive, now when I bootup, I get a popup with my name and asking
for the password.  I did not put a password in as I am the only user.  I can
click OK and XP boots up fine, but I would like to know ...

I created another account in XP Pro, and added it to the Administrators group
when i rebooted, the default Administrator account was no longer viewable, and i am unable to logon as Administrator
How do i make it visible again?

In windows 95 & 98 I was able to create an icon/tool bar button to
start the screen saver when ever I wanted.  I would like to do that in
XP but I can't seem to find the correct app. or command combo.  Can
anyone help??

Hi.  Whenever I logon to my cpu a dialogue box pops up and it reads:
"info.exe has encountered a problem"
It asks if I want to send the problem to microsoft or not.

When I installed XP (for the first time ever!) two weeks
ago, I didn't create any partitions on the 160GB hard drive
- I just installed onto one big partition.
Was this a mistake? What are the consequences of me leaving

going into safe mode
why is this created? can you access it without going into safe mode?
