With Windows 98 I was able to sort the various columns in
tables in an alphabetical or numerical order. With Windows
XP home edition on my new computer I cannot find such a
possibility. Can you give me a hint what to do? Thanks

Because of  some problems recently,  WinXP Pro was re-installed (over the
old WinXP).     The programs installed before the re-installation of Win XP
were still there.   I can run lots of programs without re-installing.   That
means that I can run programs without bothering ...

I cannot update the current integrated build 2096 because it has no
uninstaller file and the automatic update keeps failing when it tries to
download the SP2 update and I have tried the administrator 266 MB file and it
gives me an error saying it cannot install over build 2096, ...

My "L" CDROM drive is not shown in "My Computer" folder nor "Windows Explorer".
It's shown in Device Manager "Properties", but lists no drive letter for it.
Drive L:. is active, but very difficult to use.

I'm wondering what version of Word I need to be able to import Pdf's into a
document, i am running Word 2004 on my Mac and I can do this, but I'm unable
to do it on my work PC

There was a default administrator account created when I
installed Windows [obviously], I then created an account
with administrative access called Admin. I don't wasnt
this account anymore but when I come to delete it - logged
