I used my new XP Pro system for a week or so, (including
setting up Mozilla as my mail client) then decided to set
up a new user. I was originally "Administrator", now Admin
is gone and when I log in as myself (with Admin

On my desk top, when I X out a window half of it stays on my desk top and
each window I X out stays there on top of the other one does anyone know why
its doing this.  I have to click on the desk top button to make these half
windows go away.  romee

I am using the english version of window XP. I am wondering if anyone knows
how I can configiure the window so that it can read chinese characters such
as chinese file names etc?

Have been a constant user of 98SE and my XP has sat in its unopened
box now for about a year. Am wanting to try it out on my old computer
which I use strictly as a backup.

I was getting errors that suggested I had a disk error.Went looking for
scandisk.it told me to use chkdsk.
ran it and then when it came back [real sloooowly] it would only come back in
the admin account.

Built new computer using intel board and processor, everything new except
drive, which is empty except for anything my previous computer put in it.
