when i install new user accounts and ten try to switch
from one to another the screen turns black and a message
comes on saying "video mode not supported". How can i fix
this. thanks

My computer came with XP Home preinstalled. I am told that there is the

Help!  The sound icon is missing from my taskbar.. The control panel doesn't
recognize any changes I want to make on sound.  All options are faded and
won't allow a click.  This happened after I made installed Quick Time.  I
don't have an XP disk available right now.

I switched from Win Me to Win XP and all my emails,
contacts and favorites have disappeared. As well many of

My college student's computer freezes during sign on of XP-

I'm running XP PRO, and use Mozilla 1.6 and Netscape 4.8. On both
browsers, some pages come up minimized all the time, and I must then
manually maximize them. Most common are the Netscape address book,and

Every time I run Spybot, the program shows a problem with an DSO Exploit entry.  I understand that this is a security hole in IE.  I have not been able to find any info/patch or update for this on Microsoft website.

The restore down button changes the size of the window but
only by a millimeter or two.  The window is essentially
full screen.  How do I set this so that it reduces the
size properly?
