I HAVE WINDOWS XP HOME EDITION 7.0. WHEN I MAIL MERGE FROM MY DATA BASE TO A
DOCUMENT, THE DATE AND NUMBER FORMATS CHANGE. EXAMPLE: DATE IN DATABASE
READS: SEPTEMBER 22, 2004, IN THE WORD PROCESSOR DOCUMENT IT READS:

I plan to purchase a new laptop with XP Home. I would

I keep seeing the icon on my tool bar of the microsoft
download updates. I have installed. The icon keeps
showing up and the same updates are shown downloading all
over again. How can this be stopped?

In Win 98 I can place passwords on shared drives.  I can't find that
option in XP home.  Am I missing something or is Home lacking in

I have a Dell Intellimouse (PS/2 Compatible). My son gave me a wireless
mouse which plugged into the port where the Dell Mouse was. The wireless
mouse acted up (batteries ok) so I put the Dell mouse back in the port. That
continues to work. Where is the driver for that Dell mouse?

does anyone know how to get more toolbars. when i try to
get the 'forms' toolbar up-its not there and theres no
