I keep seeing the icon on my tool bar of the microsoft download updates. I have installed. The icon keeps showing up and the same updates are shown downloading all over again. How can this be stopped?

In Win 98 I can place passwords on shared drives. I can't find that option in XP home. Am I missing something or is Home lacking in security features? David.

I have a Dell Intellimouse (PS/2 Compatible). My son gave me a wireless mouse which plugged into the port where the Dell Mouse was. The wireless mouse acted up (batteries ok) so I put the Dell mouse back in the port. That continues to work. Where is the driver for that Dell mouse?
