I have bought a compaq notebook a few months ago. Since
the notebook come together with Window XP home edition,
the salemsman help me to setup my username. All this
while I log in my computer only using my own username.

Due to a corrupt XP file of some sort, I was instructed
by PC tech support team to reinstall XP.  I did so, and
although the original problem was resolved, I now have
under "C:\Documents and Settings" the original

Was in Costco today and they have a MS Wireless Intellimouse Explorer 2.0
MODEL 1007. I tried a google search and also looking at MS site but can not
come up with any info. Hoping this post reaches a user of this mouse and can

This may be a simple one, but I can't get it.  When I
turn on my system (Windows XP Home) it goes to the screen
where I must click on "User".  I want to turn on my
system and have it go directly to my desktop screen.

I recently upgraded to XP Pro.  I had put all the files
from my old windows ME computer on an external harddrive.

Is there any way to disable or kill the irritating little messages (look like
text from a comic strip) that keep popping up to explain every little action
that I am about to take.  Maybe the first day they were useful, but now they
are just a pain.
