I had entries to my System Restore back to late August and up until yesterday. When I logged on this morning, I had a problem with a program and went to System Restore and ALL of the entries were completely gone. Is there ANY way to recover from this, or are those restore points

How do I give selected users the ability to install programs without making them Admins? In the wizard on XP, the only levels for users are User and Admin, but in compmgmt Power Users, etc. are there. I've tried changing the users to Power Users, but it still wont let me install ...

I would like to know if I can safely delete all the unwanted, old uninstall files that are residing in my windows folder. I really need more drive space, and from the way the windows folder looks, all the old hotfix/uninstall files are really taking up a huge chunk.
