I am using Windows XP Home Edition.  When I click on
properties it doesn't say Service Pack 1.  Do I need to
update to SP1 before I download SP2?  I've gone to
Windows Update and it tells me to download SP2.  I tried

I think I have it straight that cookies aren't always bad to have on the
syystem, and you need them actually to help open web sites you frequent
more quickly, but after running an on line scan for spyware, the results
picked up a lot of what it calls tracking cookies on my system ...

I bought a bopy of WindowsXP Home OEM for my new rig last
week, the original cd came damaged and i couldnt wait for
a month for it to be RMA'd so i copied a version my
friend had and used the Serial Number that my original

Until recently, when I Saved picture As, it would save as a jpeg by default
and give me the choice of other formats with the drop - down menu. Now it it
saves as BMP and gives me no choice. Is there a way that I can get back my
choices?
