I installed SP2 from the cd, now all of the pop up information boxes & fonts
are so small I can barely read them.  How do I enlarge these?  The font size
in Outlook is really small, need to enlarge all of this.  Help!  This older
person can't see very well.

Thanks to Forum input, I now have a dual boot system from
2 hard drives (ME on C: drive and XP Home Ed. on D:).  I
am using the Dual Boot Menu to select OS on start-up.

My desktop PC locked up during XP SP2 install. The System
Information window shows that SP2 has been installed, but
the MS Installation Log says it failed. I can't find
where to re-install XP SP2 from - Windows Update says my

When I look at the "Program Tree" with XP, there seems to be a trmendous
amount  of duplications show up ... this seems confusing when trying to load
or locate a particular program or documents.  The same program, folder,
files, etc are stored and scattered trought the directroy.

when trying to install software i am getting an error message saying that the
nt system cannot install programs in dos or windows. window title says error:
subsystem16 and in the box is c:\windows\system32\ntautoexe. need some
ideas,i ran out.

I'm a TOTAL newbie to XP - but not too bad at the older stuff, so please
bear with me.  Upgraded to XP from WinME.
Downloaded and installed the new Service Pack 2 and immediately noticed that
it disabled my (generic) E-IDE 56x CD-ROM - although it didn't bother my

The following question has been asked before by another correspondent but I
don't think it has been answered satisfactorily.  I would welcome a response
from one of those helpful and authoritative MVPs.
Since installing SP2, the Welcome Screen no longer shows my name - i.e.to

I was asked if there is any difference in the way sp2 uninstalls depending
on how it was installed.
Can sp2 be uninstalled if it is installed off the update page?   I know it
can be uninstalled if installed using the download or off the MS disk.

well it appear without problem but in hardware administrator but i don have
icon. it don´t exist. i need recover it without lost information. please
