I have just received the up grade to XP home edition and
when I try to upgrade my present 98SE I get the following:
D:\1386\winnt 32a.dll could not be loaded or is corrupt.
Do I need to do a new installation?

In XP can I install a a all in one unit as well as a stand alone printer and
a stand alone scanner? I know that Win 98 will not permit that. I hesitate
to install the 3in1 in case it upsets other settings.

An older, cheaper but very reliable scanner while on a P2
with Windows 98.  Now can't install on XP.  CD does state
for Windows 3.1, 95 and NT.
Hopefully don't need to replace this item as well.
