Hi im not well versed in the computer world altho i can

I just had to replace my hard drive and therefore, reload XP onto my

When I click on any user on the system, it appears to open (it say loading
profile, programs) but before it open the desktop it ays logging off and
returns back to login screen.

xp locks up durong start up. Manually shut down & restart
usually opens program.  what is wrong?
