Can anyone tell me how I can "by-pass" the Welcome/User Logon screen?  I
recently installed Windows XP on my computer, but can't remember my password!
Is there a way of bypassing this screen so I can enter XP and change some
settings?  (I have Windows XP Professional version).

I load the disk put in the Buyers code and hit enter I receive the following

had to buy external drives cause my c drive is full,  so then i sent files
folders and everything i could to my new drive (f) but it is still on the c

Im looking to buy a DVD rewriter to replace my cd rewriter. My question is
'does one size fit all'?  i.e if i go into PC world will any dvd rw on the
shelf fit into my tower?
It says 'justlink' on my cd rw if thats any help to which DVD rw will fit.

I am running XP Pro on a Thinkpad, and tried to back up the drive as
usual, and now the backup program will not complete, it backs up about
4/5 of the 60 gb drive then exits with an error message to the effect

and closes my Google toolbar everytime I change a

BlankWhen logging on to Windows Xp, the screen keeps freezing and I can't make anything work.  I've been re-booting the system countless times and it keeps happening.
Any ideas why this could be?

I did not install (SP2) but automaticac updates installed (Sp2) updates on
10/16. Ever since, computer very slow. I want to remove updates but can not
do it in control pannel. Question: How can I remove (SP2) updates?

I have Windows XP Home Edition. My question is why under ny name icon does
it say that I have X amount of unread e-mail messages when in fact that is
not the case. Is there anyway to get rid of this message or is this one of
those glitches I have to live with?

After installing sp2, I am getting a runtime error when I close IE.  This
only occurs when closing IE after opening a link from Outlook Express.  When
closing IE after opening IE normally, it does NOT occur.
These are the two popups I get:

After I upgraded from WIN 98 to WIN XP PROF the folder "WIN98" is 2GB!!
How do I get this smaller? What can be deleted?
The "windows" folder is 500MB. Is it possible to make this smaller (yes I
deleted temp files, cookies and history files)?
