I recently installed the Windows XP Service Pack 2.  Now whenever I turn on
the computer I get a message on the taskbar saying I do not have antivirus
software installed.  I know this and don't need to be reminded every time.

In an effort to work around HTTP_REFERER I went to Internet
Explorer/Tools/Internet options/Content/Content Advisor/Settings.  It
prompted me to enter a Supervisor Password which I did.  This didn't help
the HTTP_REFERER problem and now I can't get rid of the password required

All of a sudden I need to Log on and Log Off to use Outlook Express. I am on
cable. Cannot upload to news Groups. Pop up window says Upload via

Cannot update from windows updte site.  It gives me a shutdown screen and

When I switch off the Icons appear in 3 vertical columns distorted since this
occured my system has started to take an age to populate the screen after

I did a virus scan and deleted all of the unwanted programs that
somehow installed themselves on my computer, but there are three that
just won't go away.  They can't be deleted manually because the

After installing fresh programs I find that some are
featured in  the menu which appears when I  "Right Click"
Also shown are some programmes which I have deleted.

I did a clean install of XP and now the speakers do not
play system sounds or any sounds.  In the Sounds and Audio
Devices window, the volume, speaker, and sound settings
are dimmed.
