A few of my folders cannot be viewed in 'Filmstrip' view, even though they contain many picture files. I can select Thumbnails etc without problem, but the filmstrip option does not appear on the 'view' menu. Does anyone know why ?

I am attempting to copy a number of files from one directory (Novell fileserver) to my c: drive. The files that are highlighted with blue text in windows explorer do not appear to get copied across. Firstly, could anyone tell me the significance of the blue highlighting.

I recently purchased a new computer with Win XP Home addition installed. I wanted to back up my hard drive and found that the backup program had not been installed by the dealer and then I discovered that I cannot find my original disk so that I could do it.

I have two xp home computers on a home network. I recently added an xp pro computer. the xp home computers can see each other but not they can't see the xp pro computer. The xp pro computer can not see the xp home computers.
