Hi. When I try to run system restore I get the following message: "System restore is not able to protect your computer. Please restart your computer, and then run system restore again." I have restarted and tried again but it still doesn't work. Any suggestions?

Why does it still say 'unread messages' when I've already read and deleted the messages? How can I get rid of that on my log on screen? Thank you

I have recently upgraded my computer with Windows XP but this has caused problems with my modem which 'cannot be detected' since the modem's driver is not compatable with XP. Where could i possible down load an upgraded driver for my modem (motorola SM56 V90 PCI speaker modem)?

Ok - as mentioned in another thread - i wanted to make sure my XP Home SP2 system was 'ok' so I ran sfc /scannow. it ran for about an hour with no messages at all (except asking for the XP CD at the beginning). When it finished it just disappeared. I have

Seems minor, but it's been bugging me for a while. In Windows Explorer, some of the file names are in blue, and others in black. Doesn't seem to be related to recently used files. I've searched the "Knowledge Base" on the MS site, with no luck. Does ANYONE
