1. Every other computer application in the world sorts file.jpg BEFORE file2.jpg (as an example), however, XP chooses to do it the other way. How annoying. Can I change this? 2. The sound control icon is no longer in the systray as it was in Win98.

Anyone know how to shut that off so the icon doesn't show up in the tray? I go to the startup list through msconfig and uncheck the box, but it still comes back ?? Thanks, Dennis D.

When I click on 'start' > 'programs' there are three columns listed. The third column on the right is almost off the edge of the screen. Is there a setting I change so that all three are completely visable? TIA

Ever so often I log in to Windows messenger and find out I was already logged in. It seems there is a copy of Windows Messenger running in the background I can not see. Is there anyway to make sure I see the icon everytime I am on?
