Can someone help me with this problem?  I am setting my Win XP on my
computer but it seems that Win XP cannot detect my hard disks.  I have two
hard disks: master (80GB) and slave (8GB).  I have a 450Mhz Pentium Celeron

I was trying to get rid of a Trojan Horse and deleted some stuff....now when
I rightclick on the desktop/properties all I get is Display Properties -
Theme....my screensaver is gone...I emptyed my trash so thesew files are gone
...how do I get them back?  I'm running XP.

what is dxva_sig.txt ? I've been finding this empty text file on my desktop
lately and have no idea what's creating it or why. Anyone else know what this
is ?

I tried to find my PID and got this message...."Class not registered"  I
changed some of the service applications (don't remember which one's) to
start automaticly......is there a default setting for all service
applications?  

I have just got a new PC with XP Home pre-loaded. The icons for My Documents,
Internet explorer and My Computer appear in the Desktop Folder but are not

When I try to delete a particular .dll file (not an XP system file), an
error message displays saying file cannot be accessed, disk full or write

I am changing my dead motherboard on an OEM XP SP2 home machine and plan to

I tried to use Add/Remove to eliminate a program. It does not complete the
population of the list of programs - it stops about 15 programs into the
