i have just bought a very nice, built computer...AMD Athlon...only my husband
and I use it and i have noticed that there are times, when certainn programs
or even sites won't respond.....we have PLENTY of memory, and have a cable
internet hook-up...just recently it will not allow ...

When I log in to my computer Windows Media PLayer starts automatcically, I
have looked in Start/All Programs/Start Up to see if it was in there but it

I have recently switched from Win98 to WinXP Pro.  It's the little things

I used to have Windows 98 and everything worked perfectly, but have recently
upgraded to XP.
When I use the HP DIRECTOR, I click "view & print".

I recently upgraded my Windows XP Pro machine's Media
Player to vs10.  I also installed another software program

Being a recent migrant from 95, I am used to having the 'send to' menu
include 'any folder' - Which was available with power toys 95.
I installed power toys for XP, and alas they do not include the 'any
folder' option, a very handy little item.

When I open Windows Task Manager (Ctrl-Alt-Del)  under Processes,I see
over 40 various names.Some of these I can identify,others with SYSTEM etc.
titles.
There seems to be very little CPU usage, but they all have figures for Mem.
