Can't import excel info into word as a picture and move it around05 Nov 2004 17:40 GMT1
In Windows 2000 you used to be able to import cells from excel as a picture
and then manipulate it on the word page using the arrow keys.  This does not
seem possible in XP.  Anybody got any ideas?

Usually, in MS word or any other word processor, when you select some text
(by mouse or holding shift) any key stroke after that will erase what was
selected and replace with the respective key stroke thingy.
I'm not sure if i've pressed some strange button or something.. but all ...

I just upgraded from Windows Me to Windows XP Home.
I have a 16x DVD Rom and a 8x DVD Reader/Re Writable. Yesterday I tried to
copy a music disc and ended up wasting two discs. Can I not copy music from
one disc to another? I do have the Acoustica MP 3 Burner program but when I

can someone please explain system restore to me, i understand it restores
your computer to a previous state but how many restore points does it save,
can u choose 1, how much space does this take up, is it reliable and will it
restore everything on your pc up untill that point?. ...

My PC is P4/2.4 and uses Windows XP (NOT SP2 just yet). I am having trouble
with "missing or corrupted ntoskrnl.exe" and this is a clean install from
the PC vendor's Windows disk.

How can I delete something from a network drive and have it go to my recycle
bin on my desktop?  Right now, I just cut and paste whatever I want to delete
onto my desktop and put it in the recycle bin that way, but there's got to be
an easier way of doing it..........Thanks!!

When I start my computer there are several programs that automatically start.
I don't want anything to start automatically.  How can fix this?  How do I

How can I delete something from a network drive and have it go to my Recycle
Bin on my computer instead of permanently deleting it?  Right now, I just cut
the document and paste it onto my desktop and put in the Recycle Bin that
way.  Isn't there a better way of doing this?  ...

firstly i'll just state that i am from the United Kingdom and not from the US.
I am a university student  and i found out that it would be cheaper to build
my own pc and than purchase the OS cd. the system i built for £250 is P4
2.4Ghz, 512MB ram, 120Gb HDD, cd...etc which is good ...

Whenever I copy some text to paste in another doc, it only saves the copied
text for a one-time paste.  Instead of the desired text, I get some old text
that I had copied weeks ago.  Also, if I wait too long or go through a couple
of screens, I don't get the just recently copied ...

I am using Windows XP SP2 and when I try to open the recycle bin it takes
forever to open and when I try to close it, it also takes forever to close.
This just started and I have rebooted which seemed to take a long time also
and the recycle bin still takes forever to open.  Does ...
