I am worndering if there is a good software program that will permanently
erase files or folders.  I know if I deleted a file or folder it doesn't
completly gets deleted in the hard drive. I know the data can be recovered,
which I don't want.  So if anybody knows a good program ...

I got a new system with xp and have been using my dsl connection manager from
sbc to connect. When SP2 installed it put a local area connection icon in the
sys tray and I disabled it to use the sbc connection manager but it
disconnected the dsl.  It only lets the sbc connection ...

I am using Windows XP professional on my laptop and I am always worried
about my laptop gets stolen and I am wondering if its possible that I can
apply password protection on a windows folder?  Any hints or suggestions

I am unable to delete a user account that i want to
delete, the program always responds with "not responding"

I keep receiving the following message and have to load Window XP from the CD:
    Non-system disk or disk error.  Replace and strike any key when ready.

I am using XP Pro. I connect to the internet using DSL, with a dedicated DSL
modem which my system recognizes as a network connection.
If I am not already connected to the internet, there is no way to connect
from the Guest account. There is no option for doing so on the Start ...
