I'm not exactly new to Windows XP, but what's the difference between Windows
XP and the Windows XP upgrade?

In Windows 2000 and ME you were able to explore into your FAVORITES folder
and get thumbnails of the web sites.  I can no longer do this in Windows XP.  
Does anyone have a suggestion?  THumbnail view is an option, but no
thumbnails ever appear.

since installing sp2 when my computer boots up instead of the desktop page
coming on  the  MY DOCUMENTS PAGE comes on instead how can i stop this from
happening and have the desktop coming on as it should  any help with this

after downloading ps2 my media center doesn't work right i can't get to my

I have recently installed XP Pro, every time I start up I am asked to install
VIA bus master IDE drivers.  What are these and where can I find them, they
do not seem to be on any of my disks.

HI - I like to keep a copy of my windows folder on disk under a
different name.  It's a little recovery trick when things go bad.  I
boot to dos, rename the backup to be the windows folder, and then I can
usually boot windows.

After log-in I look in task manager & see all kinds of  apps running. Where
do I go to stop  this stuff from loading at start-up?
Also,  how do I log on as administrator?
I try to get  HELP but  Explorer never loads the docs.

I have just loaded the new XP w/SP2, (on the same disk). My Search Companion
does not show any windows to input a search of any kind, just shows the dog!

I think I got carried away removing files via Spybot S+D  ...
 Computer with xp pro won't boot after cleanup with spybot .. cleaned
lots of Green coloured files found by spybot.

There are 2 separate administrator accounts on my machine. I have the
password for the first but not for the second. When I go to Documents and
Settings in explorer and click on the second user I get the following
