I don't know what I clicked on my computer, but I have lost the left hand
pane that had the copy to CD and print and move file on it and a few other

On 98se I used xxcopy and clone, Dos Programs, to back up my work files daily, is there something
similar for XP?

I use 1 USB connection for 2 devices which I don't need at the same
time.  Up until very recently when I unplugged 1 device & plugged in the
other the new device would show in the Notification Area accompanied by
a "ding" sound.

I recently did a clean installation on my computer with Win Xp Pro but it
would not copy the driver.cab file. I tried to re-install but no success. I'm
assuming the CD is defected. I would like to know how or what I can do to
install this file myself if that might be possible?

I get a prompt to check for software updates, but then am told I must be
connected to the internet (which I already am at the time). Clicking Try
Again results in nothing, and I have no other choice but to click Finish.
What do I need to adjust to get my updates?

i up graded to xp today from win 98 se.i also got a quicker esb
port.everything re installed fine but i just got a i pod and when i go to
install software for the i pod,i get a 1628 error message saying installation
failed.i pod support says its a windows prob and i prob need a ...

Hi, I want to remove at least two or three of the programs I have on my PC
that plays Mp3s,wavs etc. I have Quick-Time, WMP,  RealOne, MMJ and Winamp.
Which one is responsible for the sounds played on webpages?  I don't want to
remove the wrong one and no longer hear sounds on ...

Quick Launch Toolbar icons on bottom left of my Taskbar are causing a double

When upgrading from win2000 til XP the installation failed with the following

I no longer have the calculator on my accessories menu.  
How do I find it?  How do I put it back?  I had a recent
