I have a 2 - monitor system.  there's a funny quirk with this particular
video card (radeon 9200) that happens when I boot XP with monitor 2 shut
off.  Windows cancels my "2-monitor" setting and all my (zillions!) desktop
icons & shortcuts are migrated back to monitor #1, of ...

Can anyone tell me why I have to keep rebooting my PC every few hours to use
IE?  I don't reboot at least every 2 to 3 hours all I get is this same
"ERROR" (see below)

I've got a 4 computers at a small business all of which are running Windows
2000 Pro (off upgrade CDs).  I've got 4 copies of Windows XP (OEM) that I'd
like to upgrade.  When I go to upgrade I get a message saying "Windows XP
Setup does not support upgrading from Microsoft ...

I am planning to buy a portable computer. It does NOT come with a floppy
diskette. How can I install windows XP.
Windows XP does not boot  like windows 9x.
I know I can install windows 9x and then xp. But there must be a better way.

Is there a difference between opening "My Documents" or starting the "Windows
Explorer" application other than the default left panel? Any advantage either

When I click Start, then click on Run in order to install any new program
that is on a CD-Rom I notice that every disc or URL has been saved in the Run
box whenever I type the first letter of a command prompt.  Is there any way
to erase or delete previous command prompt entries ...

I'm a new windows user.  i recently put kazaa on my computer, but then found
it to be slowing other programs down considerably, so i uninstalled it.  The
notebook maximizer still shows that half of my RAM is being used up and the
CPU is working even when all other programs are ...
