An running Windows XP Home, and every time i start up, the system 32 folder automatically loads. Have looked in start up files and everywhere I can think of to look, to see why? and connot work out why it is automatically coming up.

This Xp on a dell has a d drive and I don't see what it is for ? as it appears to have nothing in it and when I look into it I am asked if I want to format it. What function does this drive perform? Can I use it?

Is there a way that you can select the classic web view in Windows XP like there has been in previous versions. I am more interested in finding a way to have the folder description view in Explorer. Any ideas?

This is the second time I recieved "shell notification fail" message on bootup. Nothing seems amiss but I'm a little concerned about what may happen in the future. Any idea what this means?
