I have had no trouble sending/reading text and spreadsheet data from my old
Mac to my Windows 95 laptop. I am unable to view the attachments on my new XP
MSWorks PC. MSworks doesn't seem to recognize older works material. Is this
so? My Mac automatically translated .sit ...

I am unable to read text File attachments that were generated by a Mac using
its MS Works 2.0 formatting. My new PC is a Works 8.0 Windows XPbased system.
I have no trouble reading spreadsheets sent rom that same computer in the Mac
Excel format. Suggestions please.

I have a DELL desktop with a 17" monitor attached to it. Everything was
working fine till I accidently changed the settings of the Desktop
Display properties to something that now prevents the monitor from
displaying anything. Without being able to see, I am unable to restore

I am the only logon user on my windows xp machine, how can i enable it

I had to reformat my drive and to do so required that I remove the SP2 I had
recently dowloaded.
Now I went to Windows update to dowload XP2 and it will not let me. What

I installed anew nortonss AntiVirus and got the ystem all fouled. I
reformatted and now have 6 of my folders that when I click on them a dialog
box comes up and says :"ACCESS DENIED" can I ever get back in to these

I prefer usin IE over my AOL9.0 at times. When I click the IE icon, I get
connected to MSN IE. On my Mac I obtained a "plain" IE page. Am I doing
something wrong? Also I am unable to find out what IE system I have on this

Through some inadvertent execution on my behalf, my user account login icon
no longer appears.  Whenever I turn on my computer, it goes to the Welcome
screen and then to the desktop without requiring any login. How do I restore

When I tried to 'forward' a posting, I get a dialog box for "MS Messenger"!
Win98 just used my e-mail settings. Worse, the dialog box gives me
dead-ends, and I cannot complete anything. Is there a setting which will
