I have found a "fix" to this problem brought on by the SP2 upgrade.
Understand I got many e-mails from Microsoft Support, and one e-mail from
support even stated the only "fix" at this time, to the problem of "burning"
to CD was to uninstall SP2 from the computer, that the fault was ...

I use winxp/sp2. When I delete email files from Outlook Express they do not
show in Recycle Bin. Same is true for other files. Recycle Bin Properties
does NOT have the "Do not move files to the Recycle Bin..." box checked. I
use "Freedom" anti-virus software from my ISP ...

I choose add/remove windows components, uncheck all currently checked options
and check the fax option only. When start the Setup process, I get the
following message:

my hard drive capacity is 80 gb, when I did a restore my local hard disc (C:)
has
more capacity than the back up disc...4.75 gb vs 69.5. How can I fixed this,
to make it the other way around...thank you

When I am using Instand Messaging, and I have my Web Cam running, and I try
to access my E Mail..my desk freezes..and I can only recover by shutting down
the PC, for about 1 hour...If I try to start again before that I sometimes
can get as far as the desktop, but no Icons appear. ...

Is it possible to reformat and load XP using the WinXP CD? I am new to XP
and have made lots of mess ups during the learning curve. I now wish to
reload windows but on booting to the CD, the program detects That xp is
already present on the disk and will not offer to delete it, ...

I just installed SP2 on my Dell Dimension, and all of a sudden it takes
literally 2 minutes to open any application including Outlook, Word and Excel
-- as well as Folders, and other Windows files (like the control panel).
Not sure if this has anything to do with SP2, or if I have ...
