I am a new owner of a video camera that records MPEG-4 video files.
When i download these files from my camera to my computer hard disk, the
file extentions change to Windows Media Audio/Video files.
How can i keep the original file extentions so that i can do the necessary

I have used the  microsoft web links that  were given to me and followed the
instructions, but it still freezes after 34 minutes.any other way of getting
round

My computer stopped 'seeing' usb ports after upgrading
from 2000 professional to XP Prof v51 Svce Pack 1 and

Every time I right click a folder and point to "send to" my computer locks
up! I don't even get a chance to click.
What can I do??

An installer, IncrediMail, starts up at the same time Windows starts and
stays on my desktop until I click the cancel button, an annoyance I'd like to
get rid of. Using the control panel's add & remv prog utility was of no help.

When I create a new account and try to log on as that new account, I get a
little pop-up "Windows Cannot Load the Users Profile But Has Logged You On
with the Default Profile for the System" and it is basically a blank user
account with nothing in the My Documents ie. My Pictures, ...

We searched and can't find it.  Find just finds all kinds of things that
have "start" in them but no "Startup" folder.

HI - I upgraded a PC from WIN98SE to WINXP Home SP2.  Went great, except
for one very odd thing:
in Windows Explorer -> Tools -> Folder Options
1) Under General - "Show common tasks in folders" is greyed out, as is

I loaded up firefox under admin id, adjusted settings, added options.
Logged out of admin id and logged in under non-admin id.
Get default settings of firefox.
Any suggestions?

All of my word documents are showing the symbols for "periods, tabs, spaces,
etc.". What can I do to get rid of these symbols?

Can someone please assist me in getting spell checker on my mail when I am
composing. Normally when i am done writting an email it will atuomatically
check my spelling. I do not have anything in my tools options to allow me to
make this happen.
