On my Tools menu it doesn't say Mail Merge only Merge Documents which is
something else??? Only want to create labels from address book. It's all new
to me so any help will be appreciated.Thanks

I had to reformat and reload XP on a new HDD.  After all was said and done,
the OS continues to hang when starting.  I have reformatted and reloaded
three times with the same result.  I install the OS, reboot, all is fine.  I
install the MS Office suite, reboot, all is fine.  ...

1. Is there a way to limit access to a program based on a user account?  
Example, I would rather not even allow access to Quicken for my kids accounts.

Hi all - XP Pro w/SP2
While I've had XP installed for a while, I just recently had time to really
start using it.  So, I  transferred my files from my W2K drive using the XP
Files transfer Wizard method.  However, I still show all my files still on

just recently ,when i go to shut down  my computeri get a dialog box with:

system Administrator disabled the Display Control Panel." I am the System

My resolution is stuck at 640 by 800
This is after dell support had helped un-corrupt some critical system files
im wondering if i need to install new video drivers in order to be able to
change my resolution to 700 by 1200

For some reason now my 'My Pictures' folder now thinks it’s a music folder.
When ever I go to it in the top left hand corner it always says 'Music Tasks'
it thinks that there are music files when there aren't just pictures. Also
know you can't view it as a slideshow type thing ...

I am having a problem copying files to a cdrw disc on windows xp. I can batch
the first group of files, but then when I go back to add more to the same
disc at a later time windows continues to tell me that the disc is full when

Went to Tools/Internet Options/General Tab and have home page of choice
enabled. When Start/Programs/Internet Explorer is clicked I get the MS Update
Page. No matter what I set for home page the Internet Explorer link always
brings up the MS Update Site. What am I missing or not ...

I tried Safety Mode by hitting F8 many times in the past..
I see WinXP screen.
Everything is frozen.  I cannot move mouse because cursor was frozen.
I cannot type in password.
