Trying to get WMP to play DVD movies.  Have installed a DVD decoder,
InterViiedo - DVD XPack for Windows XP and checked everything I can find.
When I try to play a movie in WMP I get  - In the right hand box a small
picture of the DVD the title of the movie twice and "Title 2 and ...

i used windows 98 and downloading and getting the game to play was easy; now
that i have windows xp, the game will download but i can't get it to play.  
something that say active browser comes up but the games doesn't show. what
am i doing wrong.

In xp "msconfig--Startup" how do I expand the Location to see it all??

I do hope someone can help.  I have done a very silly thing.  When I went to
turn on my PC, I had left a floppy disc in drive A.  The PC came up with a

II have a friend whose computer is operating with XP pro, all of her files
are saved as read only.  It does not matter what program is running - if it

Since installing SP2 whenever I connect to my ISP the Security Center
suggests turning on the firewall.  I can enable it without a problem, but
the next time I connect it has defaulted to disabled.  Can I get firewall
enabled permanently or is this not advised?
