i used windows 98 and downloading and getting the game to play was easy; now that i have windows xp, the game will download but i can't get it to play. something that say active browser comes up but the games doesn't show. what am i doing wrong.

II have a friend whose computer is operating with XP pro, all of her files are saved as read only. It does not matter what program is running - if it is saved it saves as read only. How do i fix that?

Will OE ever spell check again and send email? Using XP Prof with Office 2002. Outlook Express will not send. It says, 'installing' but nothing else. After a bad upgrade we ran the restore. The check spelling is 'checked'

Since installing SP2 whenever I connect to my ISP the Security Center suggests turning on the firewall. I can enable it without a problem, but the next time I connect it has defaulted to disabled. Can I get firewall enabled permanently or is this not advised?
