Hi - I'm thinking of putting XP HOME SP2 on an WIN98SE machine - 350MHz P-II w/256MB of memory. If I turn all the graphic performance tweaks off (make it look like WIn98 Windows "classic" GUI) - how much slower will it run than WIN98SE - will it run faster? Does it need more

Strictly a rhetorical question, I guess.... Maybe I'm in the minority, but I can't help but feel that things should have gotten easier with the evolvement of computers, rather than the other way around.

A few weeks ago I downloaded the latest version of MS Media Player from the MS website, assuming that it would be an improvement over the previous version. I've had nothing but problems since.

When I try to clear the passwords and forms saved in "Auto Complete" it hangs and I get the (Not Responding). I have tried it several times, restarted, tried it in safe mode, it didn't hang but it didn't clear anything either...

Have just installed all software via my own administrator account, then find that switching to another adminisrators accout ( we have 4- all family members) they cant access some of the programs- how can I make all software accessible to all users/ administrators?
