I know it seems unrelated, but why would a Windows Media Player that was
 installed by the OEM, and worked fine until after this weekend and
above mentioned MS updates... start requesting "set up" information
again... as if it had never been installed or used?

my pc is partioned into 2 drives C: & E:.
XP is on C: and contains the boot. it is 5GB and nearly full which is

Hi, somebody sent me some ms dos files via msn, and now my pc keeps crashing,
and I can`t open msn!! I`ve tried to delete them using cmd window, but don`t
know the prompts... can anyone help, or let me another way to delete them?

Is there any way to enlarge the taskbar icons (other than decreasing the
screen definition)?  Display Properties lets me change almost everything else
but apparently not these icons.  We oldies are having more and more
difficulty over this sort of thing.

without an extension? or is saving it to .txt alright?
