I am looking in XP under C:/Documents and Settings/My Account/Local
Settings/Temp and Temporary Internet files.
Between the two there are 198 MB of data.  Most of which are from May of 2004.
Is is safe to delete all these files?

Home Network Setup
I’m having problems setting up my home network.  It was working fine until I

My Dell PC automatically turn on in the middle of the night. Not sure why.  
How do I make sure that when I shut down the PC at night, it won't

I am using windows xp home. every time I launch windows media player it loads
but then does not respond and I have to close it.
Two days ago it was working fine.

I'm doing some pre-reading before installing windows XP corp version on a,
yet to be delivered, new computer and I've come across something  in the
Microsoft 'Win XP Inside Out ' book I just don't understand.  The passage,
summarised, says that the most common cause of a Stop error ...

kids got a new computer, one of them set a user password on the main account,
and now can't rememeber what it is, HELP!! we cannot get past the welcome
page now.  is there a way to get around it?

There are no more files.
I did not know that there is a limitation the number of shortcuts I can
