I had my computer up and it had been running about six hours. All of a
sudden it tried to reboot and when it did it came up with a boot
failure insert floppy disk to continue.
I was unable to do any thing so I took it in for repair.

On a new machine with XP Pro (after SP2), occasionally when I enter my
password, XP hangs, requiring a cold boot. Fortunately, the next try gets
in. Happens when I try to log in initially as an administrator or as a user.
Any ideas what is going on?

i have two computers with xp pro.  the network is fine and i can see both c
drives from both machines.  internet also fine.  i cannot open the files
even though i have clicked sharing.  any help please

I've preformed a virus scan, spyware scan and removal (Both Microsoft

I've got these adware pop-ups that keep overtaking my computer. I have Norton
SytemWorks 2004 Professional but Norton AntiVirus seems to be able only to
identify the problems but not quarantine or delete them.  Spyware Xterminator
and Ad-Aware SE each will also identify them but ...

My list of favorites on my toolbar is getting longer, all with the same
icon. Is there a way that I can put different icons on different buttons?

Hi, I'm using XP wks on 2003 PDC Server.
I keep running into a problem with svchost.exe  running around 98 to 99%. It
total locks up the computer. The only way to continue is to reboot. I've
even (end tasked) it, however, the next day I run into the same problem.

I just bought a new Dell. The first time online, it auto-updated with
a 20 meg download.
Did this also register my copy of XP? How does that process work?

I have created a secondary user account  on my XP computer but when you log
on as the newly created account everything runs very slowly but the original
user account still runs fine. Any help would be really appreciated
