Is there away to automatically rename lots of files which are all in the same folder, so I don't have to do it manually? I tried using the RENAME in the Command Prompt but that would only work for one file. This is a basic example of what I need to do lots of times to many more

Recently had a trojan from a website. Had the virus cleaned but was left without my right click abilities. I can't do anything on my desktop, no new folders, no new shortcuts, nothing. How can I fix this?

I just recently got Windows Xp Proffesional Edition, and it frequesntly freezes and crashes on me. It says that there is always an error in Run.Dll, and it ussually freezes when opening some things on my computer, or trying to install programs, also, when installing Windows

When I select a write protected folder with Windows Explorer and try to remove the read only attribute in the property dialog, it looks like it works - but when I close the dialog and immediately return to it, the read only attribute is there again !

Can anyone suggest a simple upload facility (freeware?) for use with XP to transfer small web page files to a site? Alternatively, is there anything built into XP for this purpose that I haven't found yet?
