Every time a print is sent from WinXP SP2, we get an annoying "you have
successfully printed blah blah" message popping up.
How is this essential feature disabled?

When I go to the system restore window the window will not come to the front
and I get an error message about a dll file.
the error message is: C:\windows\system32\shell32.dll, controll_RunDLL
and C:\windows\system32\sysdm.cpl, system

I installed a new sound card because my onboard sound chip was poor. The new
card is Audio Extreme 5.1 (two-speaker setup at present) and works fine with
CDs, MP3s, streaming audio etc.
However I can not get Sound Recorder to detect any sound at all. I have

I keep getting an error that says " Cannot determine capture window
resolution. You must run the Configure program to set the video settings".  
It keeps popping up very few minutes and is getting on my nerves.  Please

can not get the Guide part of it to work it always says that it can not

I have Windows XP Home and Excel 2000. I am trying to put the Registered
Trademark Symbol next to a name in an Excel document. It's the R within
a Circle symbol.  I cannot find out how to do this. Can anyone help?

I just bought myself a Garmin Gps and it is suppose to connect to the Serial
Port.  I have a hard time making this connection.  I only have comm port 1

Following a re-installation of WinXP I found the New User Name with almost
empty folders and the previous User Name with all folders containing saved
files, such as in "My Documents".
WinXP wont let me delete the "new User".  How can I get back to my old
