I want to give my computer to my son. The computer has my name thru out, such as the folder under Documents and Settings is Joseph. Also my username as owner is Joseph, etc. How can I change all these type of settings to my son's name?

I have a dell gx250 origionaly with 98se. That was reloaded twice. I upgraded to XP which also has been loaded twice. It would seem that I need to reload the OS again. Is there a limit to how many times I can load an OS before I cause any damage to the hard drive? This will be

What is the difference between the various video file extensions - .avi, .dat, .mpeg etc.? I notice .avi files take up a considerably larger space compared to .dat for example.
