Since I hve just an upgrade disk do I need to use a win98se cd or bootdisk to
access format b-4 and so i can re-install XP Home?

My 3.46 Gig extreme edition on ASUS P5AD2-E and 1024 of 533 FSB, PCIexpress
video and RAID 0 10,000RPM WD hard drives, liquid cooled, keeps shutting
down and rebooting.  Not a heat problem.  I believe I disabled BIOS memory
option.

Pc is slow so I figured I would format and re-install XP seems i bought the

our new toshiba laptop came pre installed with windows xp inc service pack 2.
when i try to use the help and support centre nothing happens. i had a look

My wife and I are both administrators on the system, but have separate logins.

i like the fact that windows hides inactive icons but sometimes (an
very annoyingly) the arrow to draw them out also disappears and th
inactive icons cannot be seen. why does this happen and how can
prevent the arrow from disappearing?? thank you in advance to anyon
