Really don't know what to do to diagnose the problem :
I've just reinsattaled WinXP Home on my computer two weeks ago ... since a
few days, it's very slow and my CPU  usage is at 100 % ... i did stop some
processes but it's always at 100 %.  Anybody knows where to look at to find

How do i change the windows security center settings for my limited account
users.  I need to activate the firewall and anti-virus controls for my
limited users.

I just created a limited account and moved some files
to the Shared Documents folder. When logged on as the
limited account I can't update a file. I get this:
'Cannot create the C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\myfile.html.

It used to be that, when I opened Windows Explorer, and clicked on a folder. the
number of files in that folder would show at the bottom of the screen.
I'm trying to bring that back, but can't find where and/or how to do this.
I have looked through the options at "Folder Options" ...

I bought my computer a couple of months ago. Because of recent blackouts ,
microprocessor has been damaged. Technical support installed a new processor

I have a Dell Dimension 8300 running XP Home. I want to wipe my hard drive
(C:) and start with a clean slate. Somehow a BIOS password got set, I don't
know it, and I am not able to set the PC to boot from CD. I tried removing
the battery for a day and a few other things to reset ...

Is anyone else having problems updating the AVG software?
It tells me a new update is available, but  when I try to download it, I get
error messages:
"The update sever connection failed - no additional information is available"

Did a stupid thing.  Not sure how I did it, but I am fairly sure I created a  
hidden adminitrator in my user accounts.  I need to find it and restore it
because I need those files.  Any ideas?  Thanks.

I currently work from home quite a bit.  I am unable to print the information
that I have input to my work computer at home.  It is not beneficial to work
from home if I am unable to print what I have input.  Looking for help with
this problem.

I upgraded from win98se to XP Home. My defrag won't complete in regula
mode. In 98 I used to be able to use msconfig to launch the startu
