Please tell me how to copy files to a cd. I can backup/copy to a floppy, but when I try to backup to a cd, I get a message stating that I should insert a cd in the drive when a cd is already in the drive. I have XP Home. Thanks, and please forgive my ignorance.

My new HP came with XPHome installed but was supposed to come with Media Center. Just curious what the differences are so I don't bother taking my entire desktop back to the store for nothing. It seems to have quite a bit of media functions already.

in settings for system restore on internal hdd says maximum is 12% of drive[6866mb] yet program shows over 10gb used todate and can restore back to june on calendar. how can one remove the restore files for all points before say sept 05.
