Was reinstalling XP home edition. Had already installed XP home and all the
drivers.  Had installed Zoealarm (standard) and Norton Systemworks (2004

Please tell me how to copy files to a cd.  I can backup/copy to a floppy, but
when I try to backup to a cd, I get a message stating that I should insert a
cd in the drive when a cd is already in the drive.  I have XP Home.

Since I bought my Gateway 820GM MCE, I've never had to log on as a User off
the Welcome screen but rather as Owner/Administrator.  There are no other
users so I never needed to create other accounts but now that I bought the

My new HP came with XPHome installed but was supposed to come with Media
Center.  Just curious what the differences are so I don't bother taking my
entire desktop back to the store for nothing.  It seems to have quite a bit

I expect to copy data files from my WinMe sys to a cd for transfer to a new

in settings for system restore on internal hdd says maximum is 12% of
drive[6866mb]  yet program shows over 10gb used todate and can restore back
to june on calendar.   how can one remove the restore files for all points
before say sept 05.
