Does anyone know of a way to make web Jetadmin remember the device description or how to assosiate a decription to the static IP, so if the device is turned off or unplugged we can see which one it is without referring to a 3rd party database ?

Yes I know this has been done to death, but could someone clarify an issue for me please? The fixes that I have seen so far appear to apply to machines where all profiles load/unload slowly.

Using windows xp sp2. I typed in a login name and password, windows saved it for me. I misstyped the login name, how do I change it to the correct spelling. Where is it saved at? Thanks

I'm running XP HE SP1. (Soon to be SP2) How do I tell which speed the USB ports in a computer are, please? Does "VIA REV 5 or later" indicate USB 2? And would that appear differently for high speed USB 2?

I didn't explain very clearly in my last mail I have a Fuji 4800Z digital camers which worked well on 98 but I transfered the data via a floppy adapter and smart media card. I now have XP and no CD driver so I dowmloaded the XP driver set up info

Power point is listed in my "all programs",so I am assuming it is installed.However,I cannot access things sent in this format.I have the works suite CD..if I have to install it,would it be from there??Forgive my lack of computer savy...I'm one of those newbies!

I have an excel file saved to a 3.5 disk but now when i try to access it, I get a message saying the disk is not formatted. If I format it, I will lose all data on disk. Is there a way to avoid this problem?
