I have been using a new reconditioned comp (win xp pro-ie7) on the Internet
for a few weeks, and a couple of days ago, I had "threat detected" messages
come up for 3 days, when running AVG 7.5 and lavasoft ad-aware. I sent the
infected files to the virus vault.

I have file names from web pages that are very long and prevent copying to my

Is there a utility that will batch-rename long fileneames to enable a drag &
drop directory-copy to a new storage device?

I am a new user, I have a laptop, windows XP, with only 192 of RAM. Does
everythin I save take up some of my memory or only things I download. Also,
if I download something, how do I know I have enuff room for it. My system is

I have just recently added a computer to our home network...this computer has
