Norton Cannot Be Removed and Disables Competing Products. Can’t anything be done about Norton attacking other programs? Over 6 months ago Norton Ghost stopped working. Norton said the version was so old they wouldn’t support it so I uninstalled and deleted it.

Start/My Documents open to link instead of menus but I now notice that the folder inside My Docs is a SHORTCUT and I think that is why they will not open as a menu. How do I repair this? See 5/2 9:51 a.m. message for more details if needed

Hi, I have a computer running XP Pro with a Sata hard disk, the problem is that i tried to connect an IDE hard disk which also has XP Pro on the computer that has a sata disk but it could not show on computer management and i couldn't get the data i wanted.

Just lost my ability to open pages on the internet with Explorer 7. Diagnostic says "Error attempting to validate the Winsock base providers: 2." Also says "Not all base service provider entries could be found in the winsock catalog. A reset is needed."

I'm fairly new to Computers and have just been shown how to 'copy and paste'. If I 'copy and paste' a suspect link(in e-mail) to my address bar,would that way be safe for me to open in address bar. Have been shown how to copy and paste Licence Numbers,etc,very handy.
