I've just found a number of entries in the Registry for software which has long since been uninstalled. Would it be safe to delete these entries? Thanks. Bill Ridgeway

A couple of you people recommended Belarc Advisor (something I can agree with). However: I just did a clean install of Windows XP SP2, and upgraded to SP3.

I had to reinstall the product due to HDD crash for power. Now while i try to activate my product it says: "Unable to establish a connection with activation server. Please check your network settings and comfirm that you are able to connect to the internet, then try again"

Whenever I click on Help / Contents and Index from Explorer the page displays code: <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN"> etc. How can I turn this off? Similarly, if I print anything from the web it prints pages and pages of code.
