I'll run that question again. This time I hope it makes more sense. We are advised to backup the Registry before making changes. Is this the same as doing a creating a System Restore Point? If not, how do you backup and restore the Registry please?

Tools Tab Missing. MSCONFIG. XP Proff 2 installed. No tools tab. XP Proff service pak 3 installed. Now the fix for Tools Tab on msconfig only works on Service Pak 2 but not SP

I have this little batch file that allows me to list the files in a directory, worked fine in xp but now I can't find Documents and Settings or Send To, where this file should be placed to allow this to work by picking directory RMB and send to. I'm new to win7.

XP Home MS Config Tools Tab I install PC's with XP Home or Proff both with Srv Pak 2. Legimate 25 Key sticker. The CD's have Service Pack 2 on them. I do not have any Install CD's without the Service Pack 2.
