Ever since XP was installed, my computer runs very
slowly.  What can be done to speed things up?  Thanks.

I have a version of Windows XP professional that doesn't
have Windows update already enabled. I know that it is
possible to go to www.windowsupdate.com but this won't be

Several of my scheduled maintenance items do not work.  
For example, Disk clean up will not work because it does
not recognize my password.  Changing or deleting the
password does not do any good.  I used to defrag my disk

I cannot find the backup utility in system tools.  I have
used it before but now it is not in the system tools.

Have two irritations.
Browser will not show 'source' when you right click. If I
am connected to my isp and I go to open a file the file
has to go out and back through my isdn connection before
