Hi,the problem is that i could be doing anything and so suddenly without ANY warning windows will just STOP. I have no clue what is causing this and any ideas would be helpful.

Sorry for the long subject line, and yes, i did read the longgg post a few posts down ;) I've just done a "clean install" on a laptop that was extremely cluttered and almost full harddrive...i even had to delete alot of programs to have enough room to even begin installing XP..

can I reinstall a partially uninstalled program (Word in Works Suite 2000)over a part of itself that was fatally flawed during installation? It is so flawed that I can't uninstall it. Will it 'fill in' and correct the flaw? I
